Sunday Session Acoustic Night
Sunday 5th Feb, 8pm...ish!
Our first Sunday Session of 2012 is here (after a New Year break in Jan) and my word, what a line up we have for you.
Hitchin's answer to a Doobie Brother, and former Roadrunner-lead-guitarist-and-all-round-hunk, Mr James Bay will be taking a break from his studies at Brighton's Institute of Modern Music to come back home and play a set for for us..

'In the middle', playing his first Sunday Session gig at the Vic, we have Olie (with one 'l') Campbell (with two 'l's). Just hard to believe this Elliot Smith-tinged musician is actually from Biggleswade
www.facebook.com/olivercampbellmusic
To open the evening, we have the sultry, folky sounds of Rebecca De Winter. Former co-front person of Bedfordshire favourites, Tinker Jack, Rebecca is now stepping out with her own material.

Dolly's Birthday BARN Party
Sun 12th Febuary, 7.30 - 11.30pm
BURLESQUE COMEDY & CABARET
It's officially the last day of Paulmas and what better way to celebrate than with Dolly's Birthday Barn Party. This time we're really pulling out the stops (to make up for our no-show at the last show) with FIVE BURLY GIRLS in the shape of "Precious Burlesque", a quintuple of quality from the mysterious East.
They'll be joined by a couple of comedians (at least) and maybe a cabaret turn as well.
Paulyb will be compering again like the usual car crash that he is and there'll probably be his girlfriend "Roxanne" there as well. WHO KNOWS?
Tickets priced £10 will be on sale in The Vic from Saturday January 7th and are again limited to 50 so make sure you get them soon for a pre-Valentine sextravaganza of girls, gags and guzzling...
More info to follow but for now join the facebook page - click "attending" or "maybe attending" and we'll sporadically keep you posted!

The Kicks
Sat 21st April, 9pm
Returning for a night of classic rock covers, modern numbers & fantastic instrumentals (particularly the drummer).
"I found The Kicks to be a refreshing blend of rock and pop. Their set was an exercise in percision, with strong vocals and a clean sound. Songs such as Sunshine of your love, You really got me and Gimme all your loving really grabbed my attention, with the harmony between both lead vocalists a clear focal point.
This band took me by surprise and clearly got the attention of the whole crowd. A good variety of music to please all ages, I couldn't help but feel their love of music and energy on stage. A great night's entertainment and a sure hit wherever they go! "
