Kicking off our PADDY’S Weekend are our friends & Vic stalwarts, folk ‘n’ fiddles band CELTIC MASHUP. Robin Campbell’s Celtic MashUp was formed in 2019 featuring Robin on vocals and guitar, Matt Waters on violin, Dicky Deegan (Uilleann Pipes / Whistles), Duncan Ivory (Bass Ukulele) and Lynden Campbell (Bodhran). Having been playing at the Vic for so many years it is a highlight for us to be back on Paddy’s Day.
Expect the Unexpected - Our mashups are creative blends of songs or feats with traditional tunes of the Celtic Nations producing foot tapping rhythms. Don’t be surprised to find Lady Madonna having a fling with the Atholl Highlanders or Dennis Murphy riding Shotgun with George Ezra. We promise you a real shindig – Slàinte!
