SHOUTORWHISPER.CO.UK… We cannot tell you how thrilled we are to be back. And even more thrilled to be collaborating with @thevichitchin, @mcfunk78 and @pennybluemusic for a brand new event. Barn Tales is a little twist on our original show. This time the fabulous Penny Blue will be headlining with their folksy music. They are so worth looking up and following. They are terrific. One thing remains the same. As is the motivation for all Shout or Whisper does, this event is a celebration of all forms and all voices. So we need you. Calling all poets, musicians, short story writers, playwrights, actors, novellists, or anyone who has ever written anything down in a fit of passion and want to share their voice with the world. There are a handful of open mic slots available. Such is our commitment to local artists, we won’t just be paying with exposure (cos that don’t pay rent now do it.) We will be sharing a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales with anyone who performs for the event. Please give us a message if you are at all interested. It would be great to see some new faces take the stage. Tickets are available via our website, which can be found in our bio. This is a pay what you feel event. So feel free to give us £0 or £1000 (or whatever you feel comfortable giving.) Again, the money will be shared amongst all those who perform at the event.
